A serum is an intensive care product for the skin in which the ingredients and active agents are present in high concentrations. This skin care additive is not used instead of a cream but additionally supplements the skin care routine.

A serum is mostly used for different reasons. Most of them ensure a good moisturizing because this is the be-all and end-all of skin care. But beyond that, the different serums have numerous other ingredients that have a positive effect on the skin. Serums are usually much more fluid than creams, have a lighter texture and are therefore absorbed very quickly. This has the advantage that you can apply your skin care directly afterwards.
